13-year-old killed in Cleveland Heights: photograph of suspects launched


CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – Cleveland Heights Police are looking for two teenagers to work for the Murder of a 13-year-old boy.

Police chief Annette Mecklenburg said that FOX 8 I-Team Thursday when arrest warrants were issued for the arrests of Brylin Pickens, 16, and Da’Vantae Cleveland, 14. Both teenagers live in Cleveland Heights and are wanted on multiple charges, including murder.

“Our detectives worked non-stop on this murder and we believe these two were responsible for the death of 13-year-old London Hill,” said the chief. “If anyone knows where they are, please call the police immediately. “

The chief added that Cuyahoga County’s CrimeStoppers is offering up to $ 5,000 in rewards for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the murder.

The shooting occurred at around 6 p.m. Monday night at a house on Woodview Road in Cleveland Heights.
The boy’s cousin called 911 and said he heard two gunshots.

Hill, from Milwaukee, died shortly after the shooting.

Police said the teenager was in the kitchen of his relative’s home when he was shot in the left side of the neck.

Hill and his mother were in town to visit relatives.

According to the police report, the officers were able to receive security videos from the neighborhood.

On video at the time of the shooting, officers saw two teenage men near the house.
