CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – Cleveland Heights The police now have two young people in custody because of the Murder of a 13-year-old boy.
Police chief Annette Mecklenburg said that FOX 8 I-Team that Brylin Pickens was handed over to the police at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
“Great work by detectives who were able to facilitate the handover of Brylin Pickens,” said Mecklenburg.
Da’Vantae Cleveland, 14, was arrested at a house in Medina early Saturday.
Both teenagers live in Cleveland Heights and are charged in connection with the murder of 13-year-old London Hill.
Hill, from Milwaukee, died shortly after the shooting.
According to police reports, the teenager was in town with his mother visiting relatives. Hill was in the kitchen of his relative’s house when he was shot in the left side of the neck.
