CINCINNATI (WXIX / Enquirer) – A 2-year-old boy steals the headlines of the Cincinnati FC-Orlando City SC game Saturday after the toddler went out on the pitch during the game.
Zaydek Carpenter of Moscow, Ohio, ran on the field at TQL Stadium in the second half of the game, according to our media partners at the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Morgan Tucker, Carpenter’s mother, raced after the sprinting toddler and was able to pick him up.
On Twitter, MLS posted a video of the young pitch intruder’s daring run.
Fortunately, the boy made it back to his seat safely.
Inquirer employee photographer Sam Greene Recorded pictures of Carpenter being picked up by his mother and the two of them back in their seats enjoying the game.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
