SEEDS Program helps Cleveland ladies discover success

Mike sits down with Cleveland Councilor Jasmine Santana, who represents the city’s 14th ward in the southwest. She founded the SEEDS program in Cleveland, which stands for Support, Engage, Empower, Develop and Sustain.

“SEEDS started after a table discussion with three different generations,” said Santana. “Despite the age difference, we’ve found that we have many experiences and challenges in common – our trauma, our fears, our doubts, our insecurities – but there are also similar ways we have been able to overcome these obstacles. So I’m a testament to mentoring, support, and opportunity that has helped me get to where I am now. “
