The death of George Miguel was the 89th murder in the city of Columbus in 2021.
Columbus police say the man died Saturday night after a shooting in the west of the city.
Police officers were called around 10:45 p.m. with reports of gunfire in 600 blocks of Wedgwood Drive.
After searching the area, police found George Miguel, 22, who did not respond, east of Wedgwood Drive, 600 blocks on Kingsford Road.
He was taken to Grant Medical Center where he died.
Miguel’s death marks the 89th murder in the city of Columbus in 2021.
