The Cincinnati Fire Department says a fire in a house in the East End on Friday night caused $ 30,000 in damage and displaced two people.

The cause of the fire, which broke out shortly before 7 p.m. in the house in the 2400 block of Riverside Drive, is currently being investigated, the department said in a press release.

“This was a labor-intensive fire, but an aggressive interior attack resulted in the deep-seated fire,” said the department inside the walls of the house.

The department said no smoke alarms were found in the house.

No residents or firefighters were injured.
