If you’ve ever wandered around New York City before the pandemic, you might have stopped at a food stall and grabbed a fresh hot dog. Perhaps you bought a pretzel to eat as you walked through Times Square. Or maybe you stepped into one of the cities Thousands of bars for a quick beer.
Columbus residents will soon be able to repeat these experiences here in the Chattahoochee Valley, just without the Statue of Liberty.
Frank’s Alley, calling itself the “New York Street Food Joint”, is about to open in downtown Columbus. It will serve hot dogs, pretzels, beer, and more Instagram Page.
It is located on 1246 Broadway, near Ayden Restaurant and Lounge and across from Nonic Beer Bar & Kitchen.
The restaurant has yet to set an opening date, according to owner Ross Horner, former Uptown Columbus President and CEO who stepped down from his position in early 2020. Declined to comment on the restaurant, Horner said, “There are many things that happen. “
Horner ran Uptown Columbus Inc. and the Uptown Columbus Business Improvement District (BID) Inc. since September 2016Previously, he was director of the Columbus Civic Center for five years.
