Lions Find Success at Columbus | KCII Radio – The One to Count On
The wait for the Lone Tree Boys’ basketball team on Tuesday was well worth it as they scored their first win of the season between 56 and 45 on the street against Columbus. The Wildcats led 11:10 after the first quarter, but Lone Tree dominated the second quarter 22:10, building an 11-point lead halfway through. The Lions held their serve in the second half as Columbus could not do his own push. Lone Tree prevailed against the Wildcats in the second half with 24:22. The Lions outpaced the Wildcats by 14 and recorded 16 steals as a team. Tyler Bell led Lone Tree with a double double of 17 points and 10 rebounds, Adam Knock added 14 points. Owen Watson went double double for Columbus with 24 points and 11 boards. With the win, Lone Tree is now 1-14, with the loss the Wildcats fall to 1-15.
