Jane Lamb-McClendon

On Wednesday April 28, 2021, God called one of his angels home, Jane Lamb-McClendon, 65, from Toledo. Jane, the daughter of the late James H. Lamb and Ezaner L. Lamb, was born on February 8, 1956 in Toledo, where she lived for life.

Jane was a graduate of Libbey High School in the 1973 class. She continued her education at Bowling Green State University, specializing in speech and hearing therapy. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Jane was a charismatic, spirited, and loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. She liked to cook and was an avid basket collector.

Her father, James H. Lamb, and her mother, Ezaner L. Lamb, had preceded their deaths.

She leaves to enjoy her memories, her son Ernest McClendon, Jr .; Twin daughters, Janelle and Janaye McClendon; a grandchild, Joile’t McClendon; a sister, Karen Hubbard; Ex-husband Ernest McClendon, Sr .; a devoted aunt and cousin, Arthetta Spencer and Brunu Rowe of Century, FL; three loving nephews, Horatio Hubbard, Jonathan Hubbard, and Jamison Hubbard; a very special friend and confidante, Kevin Brock; and a variety of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service in honor of Jane will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Chapel (419-381-1900)
