Enjoy the first weekend in March at 419. Maybe a trip to a metropark, a shamrock run or something else. There is no shortage of places to go.

TOLEDO, Ohio – We’re officially two months through 2021. This weekend, enjoy the first few days of March to do something special at the 419.

Participating RestaurantsGreater Toledo Area Monday, March 1 – Sunday, March 7, 2021 The 11th Annual Toledo Dining Week offers the opportunity to enjoy delicious meals at discounted prices from more than dozen of the best restaurants in Glass City and to support Leadership Toledo teaching free youth programs . It’s very simple: You can dine or order in one of the participating restaurants during RWT. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the effective programs of Leadership Toledo, with which aspiring young leaders are to be promoted and promoted.

FRIDAY

Adrian First Friday “Wine over the winter” | Downtown Adrian | 17 o’clock

Every first Friday of the month in the city center, they offer great deals on shopping, dining and lots of fun. It’s a great way to start a new month. There are wine tastings this month to try at some of your favorite stores. So don’t miss out.

DreamWorks Trivia Night | Chandler Cafe | 6 p.m.

Do you think you know all about your favorite DreamWorks movies? Friday night you have the chance to test it in Sylvania! Test your knowledge at the Chandler Café and have fun on a Friday night.

Paint until U passed out | Ceramic Perfection “Done Your Way” | 7 p.m. – midnight

Get a little creative this Friday and PAINT UP TO U FAINT in Fremont at Pottery Perfection. You are trying to clear inventory so now is the perfect time to channel your inner artist. You pay a $ 50 fee and then go to the table of selected items and get busy! They’ll be there by midnight so you can paint while you can take it.

SATURDAY

Shamrock Run | Second sole | 9 am

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and if you want to celebrate early on Saturday morning with a run! Wear your green and make your way to Second Sole at Levis Commons.

To register for the run, it costs $ 30. You will also receive a racing shirt, finisher medal, pint glass and face mask. You can register via Here.

Park Highlights Walk | Secor Metropark | 10 am

Spring is just around the corner and now is the perfect time to get off in one of 419’s great metroparks. On Saturday you can do this in the Secor Metropark. Learn about the park’s landscapes and its cultural history.

This walk is $ 3 and requires you to wear your mask and social distance. You can register directly Here.

Yoga in the Metroparks | Glass City Metroparks | 11 clock

Maybe you’ve spent a week at your desk? Stretch it out at the Glass City Metropark on Saturday morning. They are offering a yoga class in the Metropark to help you recover from another busy week and reduce stress.

All levels of difficulty are welcome and bring your mat and water. This workshop costs $ 12 and registration is closed Here.

Family Art Club | Toledo Art Museum | Different times – start at 11 a.m.

Spend some time with your kids this weekend and let go of your inner artist. The Family Art Club in the art museum is child’s play for you and your little ones to discover art together. Each workshop includes all the materials and you can make your own work inspired by the museum and its collection.

Shamrock Run | Monroe | 13 o’clock

If you want to get some exercise with a shamrock run and you’re in Monroe instead of Toledo, you’re in luck! If you’d like to earn these Mental Health Miles, the run starts at 1:00 PM and is organized by Run for Miles. Find out more on their Facebook page below.

This group is for our friends who like to run, jog, run and improve their physical health.

2021 Ohio Brewery Running Series kick-off | Patron Saints Brewing | 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

If you haven’t done enough with the Shamrock Runs today, you can get started with a running series that begins at Patron Saints Brewing with their run sponsor, Dave’s Running. You will have freebies, savings, and FREE BEER.

SUNDAY

Opening day | Mayberry ice cream | 1 p.m. – 8 p.m.

You know spring comes when all the ice cream parlors are open and you can enjoy ice cream on Sunday for the first time this year at Mayberry Ice Cream in Sylvania. Treat yourself to your favorite frozen products, because the season starts again this season.

The opening times during the week are from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the weekend hours from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
