Gaston, Cleveland soccer gamers signal with faculty of their selection

Last Wednesday might have been National Signing Day, but it won’t be the last time local produce will be put on paper.

Three other prominent representatives from the region made their college decision official and signed a national letter of intent with the school of their choice.

Stuart Cramer’s preeminent offensive lineman Nathan Linkous made his plans to officially compete in Western Carolina while Forestview’s Trayviyon Barnett signed with Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.

Burns quarterback Cam’ron Sweezy, one of Cleveland County’s top-returning quarterbacks, has also been taken off the market and joined Emory & Henry in Virginia.

Surrounded by family members and Burns high coaches, Bulldogs quarterback Cam'Ron Sweezy signed with Emory & Henry in Virginia.In addition to his mother, Courtney Barnett and Forestview Principal Crystal Houser, soccer coach Chris Medlin, assistant coach Justin Williams and sporting director Alan Stewart, the outstanding Forestview soccer player Trayviyon Barnett signed with Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.
