CLEVELAND – Cleveland UMC’s 35th Annual Fun (d) Day takes place on August 13th and 14th. The event begins on Friday August 13th with pre-order browsing and cake sales from 3pm to 8pm on Friday will be available from the North Shore Junior Little League. On Saturday they start at 9 a.m. with a huge auction at 11 a.m., including a car.
The Saturday events include a huge junk sale inside and outside, tents with new and new goods, cake sale, chicken grill, dinner tent, ice cream cones and games for children with prizes. Local DJ Mike Barry will provide the music from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The auction starts on Saturday at 11am with items donated by local businesses and the community. Auction items can be viewed on Saturday, 9-11 a.m., at the start of the auction. The auctioneer is Stephanie Messier from Messier’s Auction Service & Realty. Since this is a charity auction, there is no premium. Auction details and pictures of the auction items will be posted on the Cleveland UMC website: https://www.clevelandnyumc.org and updated daily from August 1st. The Church has received a donation of a 2004 Volvo C70 HPT Convertible with 61,000 miles. Details about the car can be found on the website. The car will be auctioned at 1:30 p.m.
