Cleveland Ballet 2021-22 reveals at Playhouse Sq.


CLEVELAND – On Monday, the Cleveland Ballet announced the return to the stage for its 2021-2022 season!

“Cleveland Ballet, together with its partner Playhouse Square, is excited to announce the 2021-2022 season with main stage performances including Don Quixote, The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” said a Cleveland Ballet representative in a press release on 3News .

The upcoming season marks the return to Playhouse Square and the return to live performances since the beginning of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“After a year-long hiatus, the local Playhouse Square company is returning home in a storm of performances. With artistic director Gladisa Guadalupe’s brand new choreography for Don Quixote and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the season is sure to stir awe and amazement for all. “

The season begins at the Mimi Ohio Theater with “Don Quixote” on October 15 and 16, 2021.

Just in time for Christmas in Cleveland, ‘The Nutcracker’ will arrive at Connor Palace and be on stage from December 3rd to 5th.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will end the season in May 2022 with three performances at the Mimi Ohio Theater.
