Summer is a great time to read – this also applies to children and teenagers. There are no papers to write on, no sighing-looking reading protocols. It’s the perfect time of year to help kids slow down and develop a love of reading pleasure.
Thanks to a new partnership, opens a new window between the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library and the Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS), it is easier than ever for the district’s students to borrow library books. CPS students can use the. access eBooks and eAudiobooks Sora app, opens a new window, no library card required. Combine this with the fact that CPS students are allowed to keep their laptops and tablets affected by the pandemic during the summer, and it makes a visit to the library as easy as turning on the device wherever there is an internet connection . (Psst … there is free WiFi, opens a new window at all library locations.)
In line with the new partnership, the library asked CPS librarians for their summer reading tips.
