COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus Recreation and Parks division announced Friday that the outdoor pools will be reopening this summer.
Select pools and all spray areas will be open on Memorial Day weekend and all pools will open the week of June 7th.
The city said the pools operate daily in three two-hour blocks of time (12.30pm-2.30pm, 3-5pm, and 5.30pm-7.30pm) and all visitors must register in advance.
Spraygrounds is open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., registration is not required.
Entry to all pools is free, the city said.
“Swimming pools and hot summer days go hand in hand,” said Paul Rakosky, interim director of the Columbus Department of Leisure and Parks. “We are excited to reopen our community pools to residents of all ages and look forward to welcoming everyone back this summer.”
