What distinguishes it: This state-of-the-art public market serves as a one-stop shop for protein, fresh seafood, baked goods, wine, groceries, and many convenience foods.

Trolley District East Market

Kelton Avenue and Oak Street, Franklin Park

Status: Opening August 2021, brewery follows

About the building: Renovated tram barn from the 1880s

Ready meals / restaurants: Creole to Geaux, Fourteen Twenty Nine Bakery, Yellow Brick Pizza and other suppliers to be named

Beverage options: A taproom for Columbus Brewing Co. and a whisper bar are in the works.

Outside areas: A raised terrace and a CBC beer garden are planned.
