Workplace of Distinctive Youngsters get $1,000 present from Columbus HOPE Basis | Pee Dee Weekly


CITY LAKE, SC – Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, members of the Columbus HOPE Foundation remembered the disabled students at Florence School District Three and continued their efforts to raise fundraisers for Tootsie Roll in Lake City and across Florence County.

On March 25, the organization made a donation of US $ 1,000 to the Office for Exceptional Children.

Columbus HOPE Foundation Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit corporation based in South Carolina and operated by the South Carolina Knights of Columbus. The foundation aims to improve the environment for people with intellectual disabilities and special needs and to strengthen their independence and dignity. They believe that these individuals should have the community support, tools, and resources necessary to lead independent productive lives.

The Columbus HOPE Foundation Inc. has made generous donations annually to students with disabilities in Florence School District Three to improve programs and activities to support disabled youth.
