YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – It’s been a busy weekend for first responders in Youngstown. We created this map to give you a better idea of how many scenes you responded to on Saturday night.
They are investigating multiple shootings that occurred overnight.
The police were called first Intersection of Mahoning Avenue and Halls Heights where two people were shot.
Then they were called to East Ravenwood on the south side late last night for reports of shots fired there.
Shortly after the Ravenwood incident, they were sent to Wick Park after a woman was found there with gunshot wounds. At the same time, a house on Saranac Avenue was hit by gunfire.
Then early in the morning, police responded to an accident in which two people were injured at the intersection of South and Samuel Avenues.

A woman with gunshot wounds was found in Wick Park around 12:30 p.m.
The police surrounded an apparently empty car. It is not clear what they were looking for or if someone was arrested at the scene.
According to the police, the woman who was shot is in a stable condition.
Not sure if she was shot in the park or if she was shot elsewhere and ended up in the park.

The police are investigating whether the woman who was shot in the park is linked to another shooting scene nearby.
They were called to Saranac Avenue shortly after the park, where a house was allegedly shot at.
They tell us no one was hurt there, but you can see the front windows were shot out.
On Saturday morning there was the shooting in which 2 people were injured on the west side of the city.
At around 10:20 a.m., the officers were called to Halls Heights.
According to the police, 2 people, a man and a woman, were shot dead.
The suspect escaped from the scene. The officers were able to find him and arrest him. Youngstown Detective Tod Foley spoke to First News about what may have led to the shootings.
“Looks like a verbal argument has broken out. And then people heard gunshots … people fleeing the area. It is unusual to see this type of argument in broad daylight. You know .. And it sure is in this part of town. We generally don’t get quick shots out here. Multiple enclosures and it’s unusual, ”he said.
The shooting is still being investigated. The officials say they are still trying to piece it all together.
