Police, who were responding to calls for gunfire in a neighborhood in Youngstown late Tuesday, found a two-vehicle crash on the north side of town.

Neighbors near Logan Avenue told a dispatcher they heard dozens of gunshots before two cars crashed near the Pit Stop Cafe.

Officers found a jeep on the roof and a Chevy Impala slid against a pole.

Police say the drivers fled before getting there and no one showed up at any of the local hospitals with injuries related to this type of accident

The incident was just one of several reports of gunfire that police investigated overnight.

Police said there were three reports relating to either homes or vehicles that were linked to gunfire.
