Investigators cited two entities: The Forum and J Bar

COLUMBUS (WKBN) – The Ohio Investigative Unit this weekend cited two bars that had committed health violations such as social distancing.
The Ohio Investigative Unit is responsible for enforcing codes of conduct in bars, restaurants, tobacco shops and more.
They dress in civil and visit alcohol-licensed websites to see if guests are following health guidelines.

According to the investigators, J Bar in Athens received a quote on March 20 about disorderly behavior because a large group of people were not wearing personal protective equipment.
Agents said the guests danced on bar stools and gathered in large groups while drinking, without keeping a reasonable six-foot distance.
Another restaurant called The forum, in Columbus received a quote.
According to agents who issued the quote, there were approximately 250 people in the facility with minimal social distancing.
The cases and convictions are now in the hands of the Ohio Liquor Control Commission.
