The Daily Dawg Tags bring you all of the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including Terry Pluto naming his # 1 internal free agent to keep him
This off-season, the Cleveland Browns have a long list of free agents. As always, some will be re-signed, but many of them will go to a different club.
For the Browns, the players who left often left of their own accord – in search of a better franchise. Now, having turned things around, this year it seems they have more cards than ever when it comes to getting free agents to stay.
But who should be prioritized? That is the question Terry Pluto answered, and his top player pick is none other than the broad receiver Rashard Higgins. From there, Pluto goes ahead and lists the rest of the package with players like Terrance Mitchell, Larry Ogunjobi, and BJ Goodson.

“Rashard Higgins: If you’ve read me for a while, it’s no surprise the recipient is high on my list. He’s one of my favorite players since he was selected in the 5th round of the 2016 draft. When Higgins gets regular service, he produces. Last week I wrote extensively about how he caught 37 of 38 “catchable balls” according to Football Outsiders. And 31 out of 37 catches went for first losses. “
It’s hard to argue against the argument. Higgins just produces and the fans love him. Most of all, Baker Mayfield loves him and that should be enough to get this front office’s attention.
“A boy with a passion for sports shares his knowledge with viewers while hosting his own show – and his first professional interview was with a former Cleveland Brown.
Craig Glattly is an 8-year-old boy who lives near Chicago, Illinois. However, he has family ties in Cleveland, where his mother Courtney is from. “
Glattly clearly has a future in front of the camera and it’s pretty impressive what he’s put together at such a young age. In addition, it has great taste as it likes the browns.
Each off-season there are several seasoned free agents who are released because their team is about to lose a salary. Greg Newland looks around the league and identifies three players who, as a result, could be released for the Browns to step on the tires – assuming they become available.
There are some images that are making the rounds suggesting that the Browns could have a new alternate kit in the coming season. It seems like a look that pays homage to the 1940s when football was king in Cleveland.
