The Memphis women’s soccer team will begin four consecutive street games against Cincinnati on Thursday at 5 p.m. CT on ESPN +.
The Tigers (4-1, 3-0, AAC) have nine points in the American Athletic Conference and are at the top of the league with USF. Memphis last faced the Bearcats on October 18, 2019, a 3-0 win for the Tigers in Cincinnati.
After the game in Cincinnati, Memphis will play in Temple (March 21), Vanderbilt (March 27) and USF (April 3) before ending the regular season at home against ECU (April 11).
Memphis midfielder Claire Abrey and Mya Jones were named to the AAC Women’s Football Honor Roll for their efforts to beat Houston 1-0 on Sunday. Abrey, a junior, scored the only goal of the game with a 15-yard hit in the upper right corner 30 seconds into the game. Jones, a sophomore student, supported the goal.
