MEDINA, Ohio – St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will Oktoberfest, complete with food, beer, music, kids activities, and more.
The rain-or-shine event will take place on Saturday, September 25, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 317 East Liberty St., Medina. The church is located east of Medina Square.
Hofbräuhaus Cleveland sells food and drinks. There are pretzels, sausages, hot dogs and desserts such as apple strudel and pretzel bread pudding. A food truck offers potato pancakes, schnitzel, roast pork, sauerbraten, bratwurst, roast chicken and chicken fingers.
Oktoberfest, dark and Hefeweizen beers – along with some wines – are served in the 9 by 30 foot “beer garden” of the church.
Danube Swabians play from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Jason & the Monotones play from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
From 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. there will be a costume evaluation and a beer jug, where the winners will give the Hofbräuhaus presents. From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., a children’s area will be set up with an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, corn hole and games.

The proceeds will go to St. Paul’s outreach programs. The last event in 2019 drew 450 people.
