Firefighters say one person was injured in the original fire but is now in stable condition in the hospital

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Youngstown Fire Department responded that a house fire on Ridge Avenue reignited overnight.

Firefighters responded to the call around 1 a.m. Nobody was home at this point.

Firefighters said the flames between the porch and the roof had started again. According to local officials, relighting is more common in colder weather.

The original cause of the fire is still being investigated

I injured myself in Youngstown on Friday.

The video from the scene on Friday night shows smoke pouring out of the house. Firefighters tell us that an 85-year-old man was injured and hospitalized, but is now in better shape.
