A driver who fled police was one of three involved in an accident at a busy intersection in Mishawaka.
The collision occurred on Tuesday, March 23, around 1:45 p.m. in Cleveland and Grape Roads.
A Mishawaka police officer attempted to conduct a traffic disruption on a vehicle whose driver was believed to have an active warrant.
The vehicle drove in and out of traffic and hit a second vehicle at the intersection, which in turn hit a third.
The drivers of the two vehicles hit suffered minor injuries.
The woman at the center of the persecution suffered head injuries. The police say they did not wear a seat belt.
