Founded in 1989, Cleveland Indians Charities is a self-sustaining non-profit organization based on community values. CIC focuses on developing creative and meaningful partnerships with selected organizations in the community. Through fundraising campaigns, CIC offers the opportunity to work together to prepare youth for success, improve the quality of youth baseball and softball, and create a sustainable plan for youth baseball and softball. Various CIC programs help young people learn the game of baseball, develop the necessary life skills, and develop self-confidence to face today’s hurdles.
Over the years, CIC has raised money through a variety of fundraising drives and is supported by the generosity of donors including players, coaches, fans, front office fans and corporate partners of the Cleveland Indians. Since 1989, CIC has donated more than $ 10 million to youth oriented agencies and organizations in northeast Ohio.
