We have a winner. I said, We have a winner! The people spoke. And they spoke loud and clear.
The winner of Cincinnati’s Favorite Beer 2021 is (drum roll please) … the Bohemian special brew by Geo. Wiedemann Brewing Company, also known as Wiedemann’s Fine Beer.
The 2021 newcomer in the brackets immediately turned heads in the nomination round with the second highest number of nomination votes and landed as number 1 out of the gate. Go ahead, beginners!
In the first round, Wiedemann’s camp started in the Bohemian style No. 8 Roebling Vanilla Espresso from Rivertown, who won this matchup with a convincing result of 730 to 524 votes.

In the Sweet 16 round, the Böhme faced No. 5 Vlad from fingerboard and eked at 566 to 501 win. The next opponent in the Elite 8 was # 2 you betcha! von Sonder, with Wiedemanns Sturm with a 723 to 667 victory.

The Final Four brought this Special Brew its strongest opponent to date No. 1 vanilla cream from Big Ash, a brewery that took home the championship title in 2020 with his Backbeat Coffee Blonde Ale. The Wiedemanns achieved a breathtaking victory with a final score of 685 to 647.
The finale was a whole different story. Someone lit a fire among Wiedemann’s fan base. With a higher number of votes than any beer in a round this year, Bohemian defeated Special Brew No. 2 Gavel Banger from Taft’s (the 2019 champion) with an amazing bottom line of 963 to 552. Absolutely impressive finish from the rookie beer.
