FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good thursday evening,
A weak disturbance brings clouds over our area tonight. We saw a few isolated showers late in the northeast of the state today. Tonight the sky will dissolve and quickly fall to the lower 60s before midnight.
Overnight the skies will become clear and the wind will be light to calm, temperatures will drop to the lower 50s in the city and the upper 40s are possible outside of the city to start on Friday. Friday will be a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and highs in the upper 70s. The temps will fall in the 60s during the FFN week 4 games.
The weekend looks pretty great with high pressure on Saturday and the highs of the sun in the lower 80s. On Sunday a front hangs to our north, under the front we will have plenty of warm sunshine and highs in the upper 80s.
The front will sag a little to the south for Monday with more scattered clouds and a southwest breeze, temperatures will rise again to the upper 80s. The border will be lifted north on Tuesday and we’ll stay pretty warm in the upper 80’s. Chances of rain with some storms are possible later on Wednesday as a front washes through our area.
This will bring temperatures back to the mid-80s on Wednesday and down to mid-80s on Thursday with more sunshine. Even with the cool down, temperatures in the 80s are above normal for next week. Outside of tomorrow, the last 6 of the 7 days in the extended forecast for temperatures are above normal.
