Firefighters rescued a dog that was on the first floor

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Firefighters say arson caused an early morning fire in a South Side home that caused $ 8,000 in damage.
The crews were taken to a house on Brooklyn Ave. at around 12:13 a.m. Monday. 138 called and found heavy smoke and fire from the first floor.
The car fire spreads to the house in Youngstown
A family of five was home and they were out when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters rescued a dog that was on the first floor.
Nobody was injured.
The department’s arson investigator is investigating.
