The city administrator’s budget goes to the mayor

On Tuesday, Cincinnati City Manager Paula Boggs Muething will publish the proposed city budget. It then goes to the mayor to make changes before submitting it to the Cincinnati City Council for final delivery by June 30th.

CPS announces interim superintendent

The Cincinnati Public Schools will announce their interim superintendent during the board meeting on Monday evening.

Current Superintendent Laura Mitchell announced her resignation on May 10th. She will be leaving the district on June 11th and will start in her new role as President and CEO of the Beech Acres Parenting Center on 15th of June.

The preliminary position was only open to internal candidates, officials said. Two current CPS employees applications submitted for the role of interim superintendent.

The board meeting on Monday is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and will take place streamed live online.
