YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police are investigating a shootout in which a car was sent into a building in Youngstown on Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 3pm on Glenwood Avenue.
Police say a man was shot and taken to hospital. He is in a stable condition.
Local police said shots were fired in front of a playground and basketball court in the area, causing a car to crash into a building.
The building is not empty and is a shop.
There are bullets in the street at the intersection of Sherwood and Glenwood Avenues. According to the police, around 25 cartridge cases were found.
The car is about half a block from there at the intersection of Laclede and Glenwood Avenues.
