This is the second year Safe Zones is hosting the event. They plan to hold more in the future.
“We want to strongly contain the violence. We want everyone to know that Youngstown is more than just violence – we are peaceful, ”said event organizer Leonard Carter.
The event also included a meeting with members of Youngstown’s film “Grimy,” which was released on Amazon Prime.
